Problem Statement
With over 50 light installations spread across Eindhoven and thousands of visitors expected, festival organizers needed an engaging, easy-to-use mobile solution that could guide attendees through the event, provide relevant information in real-time, and support multiple languages. Traditional printed maps and signage were insufficient for creating a dynamic and accessible user experience.
Our Solution
We designed and developed a feature-rich mobile application using Xamarin for cross-platform compatibility. The app included real-time mapping of exhibition points, iBeacon-triggered alerts to engage visitors at the right moment, in-app audio tour purchases, and multilingual support. This digital solution helped streamline visitor flow, enhanced the accessibility of artistic content, and elevated the overall festival experience.
